After some serious questions were being raised in the last few weeks as to whether Laguna Beach 4 would take place, LC's little sister, Breanna, confirms on her myspace that Laguna Beach 4 will take place.

The question becomes, does the show have any life left? Can the show pull a Hills 2 and actually get better? I have my doubts, like many of the reality shows, the people involved get very conservative around the camera's and do the show only for the publicity instead of for simply the expierence. Season 1 was so good because they all thought it would probably never even air and they were really just going to get a video yearbook out of it.
Will Reality TV die off? It already kind of is, the major networks seem to shy away from it more and more and even MTV seems to be moving somewhat away from it. Because these shows are cheap to make I suspect reality tv will always be around but I think it has hit its high watermark already.
Really no reality star has become a true star. They all seem to have a shelf life of at most a couple years.
