When I picked up the lastest offering from Grey Goose, La Poire, my expectations were already high as Grey Goose has always made an outstanding vodka, but, La Poire absolutly blew me away. La Poire which stands for "the pear"is the smoothest vodka I have ever tasted. You would be perfectly happy to drink this vodka like you would an excellent couvousier. I personally like my vodka cold and over the rocks it is incredible. The product has a fresh pear scent that only adds to the enjoyment of indulging in this immaculate product. It is also excellent with tonic and it makes a great apple martini. I am a huge fan of Ciroc but this blows Ciroc away. If your in Atlanta, Jax in Roswell carries it in both the 750 and 1 litre. Don't waste your time getting the 750, you will love this vodka. Definatly, ask for this in your vodka drink of choice the next time your out.
